The Diana Wynne Jones conference of 2029 is proud to present our first confirmed guests!

We will be joined by authors Garth Nix, Emily Tesh, and Rebecca Fraimow!

Garth Nix has written a great many highly lauded fantasy and SF books, and is perhaps best known for his Old Kingdom series starting with Sabriel. He was also a participant in the 2024 Diana Wynne Jones conference.

Rebecca Fraimow is the author of Lady Eve’s Last Con, The Iron Children, and several short stories.

Emily Tesh is the author of Some Desperate Glory, The Greenhollow duology, and The Incandescent.

Together, Rebecca and Emily are also the podcasters behind the award-winning Eight Days of Diana podcast, a treasure trove for all Diana Wynne Jones fans!

We wish a hearty and very excited welcome to all three!

The 2024 conference took place from the 2nd-4th August 2024 in Bristol, UK, and was attended by over 100 people from all over the world. We heard a lot of fascinating talks, took part in some great conversations, and had a lot of fun!
